Parks Canada NB Sustainable Tourism Award

This award recognizes tourism operators and organizations in New Brunswick that demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainable tourism practices. It honors those who respect and enhance natural, cultural, and aesthetic heritage while providing exceptional visitor experiences.
Successful nominees blend economic objectives with heritage preservation, community values, and environmental stewardship.

Nominees must:

• Demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability in their operations.
• Show how they integrate environmental stewardship, community involvement, and heritage preservation into their tourism offerings.
• Exhibit responsible resource management and eco-friendly practices.
• Offer visitor products and experiences that align with community values, cultural significance, and environmental health.
• Have a proven track record of sustainable practices and community engagement.

Each nomination package must include:

1. A completed nomination form.
2. A written summary (max 750 words) describing the organization and how they meet the criteria for this award.
3. Supporting documents (e.g., analytics reports, visuals, links to campaigns, testimonials).
4. Optional: 1–2 letters of support from industry partners or clients.
