Award Overview

Since 2000, the Pioneer Award has recognized individuals who have made pioneering efforts to promote tourism and the province of New Brunswick. It celebrates leaders who have significantly contributed to advancing the tourism industry over the years.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Nominees must:

  • Have demonstrated visionary leadership and innovation in promoting tourism in New Brunswick.
  • Have made a lasting impact on the industry, community, or both.
  • Be an individual, organization, or collaborative effort with a proven history of pioneering contributions.

  • Contribution to Community and Tourism Growth

Nomination Requirements:

Each nomination package must include:

  1. A completed nomination form.
  2. A written summary (max 750 words) describing the individual and how they meet the criteria for this award.
  3. Supporting documents (e.g., analytics reports, visuals, links to campaigns, testimonials).
  4. Optional: 1–2 letters of support from industry partners or clients.
