Job Title: Chef – The Tandoori Adda

Job Summary

Language : English

🏦 Work location : On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting : Restaurant

💵 Salary : 30.10 hourly / 35 hours per week

📋 Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time

📅 When can start : Starts as soon as possible


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
  • Create new recipes
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food


Education/Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate


Required Skills/Experience:


  • 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Cuisine specialties:
    • South Indian
    • East Indian
